This page explains how to disconnect a connected social account and how to request deletion of data associated with your use of KIWAMI. You do not need to log in to read these instructions.
If you have connected a social platform such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X or LinkedIn to KIWAMI, you can disconnect it yourself:
Disconnecting removes or invalidates KIWAMI's stored authorisation for that account, where this is technically supported by the relevant platform. Content that has already been posted to the external platform is not automatically removed and must be managed directly on that platform if you wish to delete it.
You may also request deletion of data associated with your KIWAMI account, or with a connected platform, by emailing info@kiwami-jds.com. Please include:
You may also remove KIWAMI's access generally by visiting Facebook or Meta's Apps and Websites settings and removing KIWAMI from the list of connected apps. This stops KIWAMI's access on Meta's side, but we recommend also using Method 1 or Method 2 above to ensure any data KIWAMI holds is addressed directly, since removing an app through Meta's settings alone may not trigger deletion of data already stored by KIWAMI.
We may need to verify your identity, and your relationship to the account or organisation in question, before actioning a deletion request. We aim to process valid requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
Deleting data held by KIWAMI does not always mean immediate, complete removal from every system. We may retain limited information where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, resolving disputes, maintaining backups, or other legitimate business record-keeping purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Deleting data held by KIWAMI does not automatically delete information that Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn or another third-party platform retains independently of KIWAMI. To remove data held directly by those platforms, you will need to contact them or use their own account and privacy settings.
